All Saints Church exterior

Here is a guide to the main services at the Church and the form that they take.

Celebration Communion 1 hour
Usually held on the first Sunday of each month.  The service begins with everyone together, and after a story and song for the children, they leave for an activity while the adults listen to the gospel and sermon.  During the service the orchestra plays for some of the hymns and also a piece at the end.  This service is lively and child-friendly and uses modern language.
Parish Communion 1 hour
Held on the second and fourth Sundays.  Similar to the Celebration Communion but without orchestra and with more traditional music sung by the choir.  There is a sermon for adults and activities for children.
Holy Baptism 1 hour
Held on the third Sunday in most months.  This service focuses on welcoming newcomers to the Church family.  Includes hymns, children's songs, and an address, as well as the baptism itself.  Modern language used throughout.
Holy Communion 30 minutes
9am on first Sunday of the month.  Said service, using the words of the Book of Common Prayer.  Quiet and contemplative.
Parish Evensong 45 minutes
Traditional Book of Common Prayer Service with the choir supporting the congregational singing and contributing an anthem.
Choral Evensong 45 minutes
Traditional Book of Common Prayer service with canticles, anthem and psalm sung by the choir.
Shakers and Stories 30 minutes
Special service on second and fourth Sundays for the under-fives and their parents.  Stories and songs with lots of opportunity for participation!
