Loughborough Church of England (Aided) Primary SchoolAlthough not physically located within our geographical parish, the Loughborough Church School is an important part of our life as a church for the community. The school is in William Street and there are eight classes and eleven teachers. Seven teachers have their own class, two have a job share, we have one SEN specialist and of course a head teacher. There are also many support staff. But at the heart of the school are the 230 or so pupils which have the opportunity for a full education in a caring and supportive Christian ethos which is often praised for both its spiritual integrity and its welcome to those of other faiths. History Loughborough Church of England (Aided) Primary School was formed 12 years ago by the amalgamation of two Victorian schools (Emmanuel and Warner). It is now linked with both ourselves and Emmanuel Church. This unusual arrangement makes it a school where rectors of both churches are ex-officio governors and where both PCCs provide Foundation Governors. This helps to make sure that the School has a well-balanced and healthy spiritual life.
